Ephesians 1:20-23 | Levi Moore

Jul 6, 2025    Levi Moore

This week's sermon explores the sovereign power of God, contrasting our own often frantic and overextended lives with Christ's serene and powerful reign. The central theme emphasizes that "Through God's power, Christ reigns".

This divine power was supremely demonstrated in two key actions: God raising Christ from the dead and then seating Him at His right hand in the heavenly places. This enthronement signifies Christ's ultimate authority and position of majesty as the victor, fulfilling ancient messianic prophecies like Psalm 110:1 and Psalm 8

As a direct result, Christ holds comprehensive cosmic dominion over all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name, spanning not only the present age but also the age to come, underscoring His permanent and preeminent kingship over all of time and space.

For believers, this profound truth means that we are raised up and seated with Christ in the heavenly places, empowered by the very same might that resurrected Him. We are called to embody Christ's fullness, serving as His hands and feet in the physical realm to manifest His glory to the world, finding hope and assurance in our seated King who has already won the victory over all spiritual powers.
